Meaning of KBR

...Our good friends Kyle and Jen Baldwin were tragically taken from us in an automobile accident on July 2nd, 2005, on their way to weekend getaway at the lake. We were all going to the same place, to celebrate the 4th of July weekend. We never got to have that weekend together, but we will always remember them and their place in our hearts. We were struggling to come up with a name for our new company, and were getting no where fast. We had to have a name by the end of the weekend, it was time to file paperwork. Once the news of the accident got back to us, it was almost instantly known to Marty and I, that we should name the business KBR, Kyle Baldwin Racing, after Kyle.

...Orange was Kyle’s favorite color, so we adopted that as well. We affectionately referred to Kyle as a “Kyle of Shit” and so we painted our drag bike orange, put number 72 on it and named it the K.O.S. in his honor.
